I have tried so many products to cover breakouts, scarring and discoloration. I don't understand the poor reviews. If you apply it as directed, it's flawless!

This is my second review on this. I have been now using the product for several months and have read some negative reviews, all of which I have experienced through trial and error. Yes there is a learning curve, so I recommend buying an extra sample (of a different colour) just to practice. Start with the full kit as the tools are important for success! Here are some important tips to make sure you this works for you.
1-you absolutely need the correct colour. I went through 4 before figuring out my colour. Once you find your colour, it’s pretty fool proof and mistakes are not noticeable. I have pale skin with olive undertones and use bronze medium. Medium and light tan were too light, and medium cool was too red.
2-don’t bother using this if you don’t have the primer. It won’t stick. With primer, Product lasts me 4 days
3 if it looks like a blob, you are either using too much product or the colour is wrong. You need a tiny amount, and can layer on top. I apply it with the small tools and don’t use the mixing tips as it wastes product.
4 it’s sets very quickly. Keep it in a cool place so you have a bit more time to use it. I sometimes refrigerate for a couple mins.
5 don’t forget to blend the edges! Feather the edges so that you don’t see harder lines when it sets.
6 wait the full 2 mins or it will look shiny and peel off with the pad
7 don’t put makeup on top. It will look really bad and you will lie lot need to start over.
All in all it’s tricky to use, but once you figure it out it really is amazing!! I feel so much more confident when I use this! There is nothing comparable on the market other than regular fillers, so I highly recommend giving this a try!

I have really been trying to use this to cover a giant pore on my nose. Once it worked nicely. All the other times it either stuck to the pad or lifted up around the edges.

Application can definitely take a little practice, especially in areas with more movement or texture. A few quick tips: make sure your skin is clean and oil-free, apply a thin layer, and allow it to fully set before touching. If it’s lifting or sticking to the pad, that usually means it’s still a bit wet during application.
The Texture Pad can also be cleaned with Isopropyl alcohol and then allow it to air dry before using.

This is enough to cover a small tattoo. Not nearly enough to cover a large area. Definitely a one time application. Needs to be in bold letters! This doesn't suffice for someone who has to apply to large tattoos every day for a corporate job. Also is not SWEAT PROOF OR WATER PROOF! NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT.

Avoiding rubbing or touching the area throughout the day

It did not remove topical filler from clothes. It does remove 'Behind the Scenes' concealer from skin, but so does baby oil. So meh...please tell me how to remove topical filler from fabric.

Thanks for sharing your experience — we totally get how frustrating it is when product gets on your clothes! Removing topical filler from fabric can be tricky. The best thing to do is try to treat the stain as soon as possible by gently blotting it with cold water (don’t rub, or it can make it worse).
If it’s already dried, a little mild detergent or stain remover left to sit for a few minutes before washing usually does the trick. Just be sure to wash with cold water to avoid setting the stain.

Dermaflage promises to give you a one-time color match if you don't get right the first time. I was able to get ahold of them via email and they promised to make right with a courtesy color change and honoring a $10 discount as I purchased during a promotion. While they were responsive at first, once I sent them my home address for them to get shipment to me quickly - they ghosted, and no product was sent nor discount honored and refunded. It worries me that a company guarantees the correct product, but doesn't fulfil it.
